My main aim is to make everyone’s situation better. Help your horse to feel the best they can in their saddle and therefore perform to their maximum potential, and to keep you happy and comfortable so you can communicate effectively with your horse without the saddle being a hindrance or factor of doubt.
My approach is fairly simple and I wont complicate things needlessly but I do love to learn and am constantly on the look out for research and professional development opportunities that will enable me to do my job better, more efficiently or helps me to explain to owners the reasoning behind my work.
I am realistic and will do my best to get the most out of your current set up if that is your wish but if a new saddle is required or desired then I’m confident to supply something that will work for you and your horse equally, whether you’re a grass roots amateur or established professional. I will then provide a maintenance and support service to make sure your saddle continues to benefit you both.
Also I think it’s important that the circle of people that you take direction from are all on the same page. I will happily work with trainers, body workers, yard mangers etc to ensure everyone has a common goal.
I am totally independent and work alone so you will always deal directly with me. You will be my client and my responsibility and will be given a truly unbiased and balanced service.
I have my own horses and ride and compete regularly across a few disciplines so I can fully empathise with how important the saddle is as the main interface for communication between horse and rider and I whole heartedly appreciate the frustration of feeling like the saddle is working against you and not for you, as it should.
